We are romantics at heart, and we believe in Love and the whole idea of Soulmates.
Our satisfaction comes from photographing couples who are deep in love, and those who truly believe that they are holding their soulmate’s hand. We work very hard to eliminate all distractions and reservations that might stop our couples from allowing their feelings and emotions to flow, and we constantly strive to create images that are emotionally rich, and tell a deeper story.
Knowing our couples well is a must for us, so we do that over a couple of meetings. We talk about lots of things, including objectives, style and plans. It would be a fallacy to claim that we capture “Your Special Day” without really knowing “You” well.
To us, every wedding is unique. Socially, it is an individual friendship, and artistically it is an individual project. Instead of asking our couples to conform to a set style, we have created an approach that is dynamic in it’s essence. So it is easily adapted to each couple’s personality and style.
At the core of Sakhi Photography is us, San and Sandy. A husband and wife team. We love what we do, and we love living it. Producing amazing photographs is what keeps us going, and we constantly aim to outdo ourselves.
San’s job is to plan, prepare and photograph. Sandy takes care of the processing and album design. We do not take on more than two weddings a weekend, and never two on the same day.
We like to keep things boutique so we can produce the best collection of photographs for every single one of our couples.
Our images are the result of all the work that we do prior to taking the camera out of the bag. After that, most of it turns into photographic jargon and technical gaga. But we don’t worry you about that, after all, that is what you hire us for. We ask all our couples to just have the most amazing time of their lives, and leave the capturing of it to us.
